An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Staff Accountant at a rapidly expanding transportation company based in the Inland Empire. This position became available due to a recent internal promotion. The company has recently acquired a business in a new state and continues to experience steady, year-over-year growth.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Proficient in full-cycle general ledger accounting and managing month-end close

• Experience in fixed assets and sales tax

• Prior experience in fleet management accounting is required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Full-cycle G/L management

• Execute month-end closing activities

   

• Maintain communication with customers as needed

• Demonstrate accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work independently

• Conduct ad hoc data analysis

• Support the preparation of financial reports
