A national corporation based in Fontana is seeking a Staff Accountant on a direct hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Manage and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and other compliance reporting
• Help improve and document accounting processes and internal controls
• Provide support with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll tasks as needed
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an accountant
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
