Responsibilities (will train):

• Assist with maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and complete.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Support senior accountants in closing the books at month-end and year-end, including adjusting entries and preparing reports for auditors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of accounting experience. This role is perfect for an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or junior accountant looking for a promotion.
• Bachelor's degree or work equivalency will suffice.
• Basic Excel skills and computer technical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
