Sr. Accountant

Greater Salinas Area | Full-Time | $85,000 – $95,000 annually

Position Overview:
The Sr. Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic business initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting experience, attention to detail, and a drive to continuously improve financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP

• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes

• Oversee cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and cash forecasting

• Assist with audit preparation and tax filings (income, sales, payroll)

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements

• Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate cross-functionally

• Participate in process improvement projects and financial analysis

• Occasional business travel may be required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate financial reporting

• Experience working with multiple entities is required

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP) and Excel

• CPA preferred but not required

• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills

• Valid CA driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary range: $85,000 – $95,000 annually
