A prestigious CPA firm located in the San Gabriel Valley is seeking a Senior Accountant who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join their growing team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for providing accounting services to a diverse range of small to midsized business and high-net worth individuals. The Senior Accountant will manage financial statements, tax preparation, audits, and provide strategic financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Conduct audits for clients, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Provide general accounting services, including bookkeeping and preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist clients with financial planning and provide tax-saving strategies.
• Advise clients on accounting systems, policies, and controls to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting best practices.
• Assist in the preparation of financial projections and budgeting for clients.
• Collaborate with senior staff and partners to address client issues and provide solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, offering advice and support on financial matters.

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting and tax software.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and financial regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
