 Our client, a muti-strategy investment group is currently looking for a D365 Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert to lead the ongoing configuration, optimization, and integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across their organization. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of Finance, Procurement, and IT and plays a critical part in ensuring D365 supports and evolves with our client’s operational and strategic needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and configure D365 financial modules, ensuring stability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline workflows, improve data accuracy, and enhance the user experience.
  • Test and validate system updates, patches, and new configurations while ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Provide training, troubleshoot issues, and support end users to drive adoption and usage best practices.
  • Act as the primary liaison to external technical support and ensure SLA compliance and timely issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with ERP and Security teams to manage and monitor integrations with other enterprise tools and platforms.
  • Build and deliver actionable insights through system-generated reports to aid finance and operational decisions.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or CPA a plus).
  • 10+ years in finance or accounting with a strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and systems.
  • 4+ years of hands-on D365 configuration and administration (Certification highly preferred).
  • Strong grasp of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R) cycles.
  • Knowledge of system integration tools and data extraction/reporting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Comfortable in working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environments with competing priorities.
