Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Queens. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the accounting function.
• Assist with system implementations and automation efforts to optimize financial reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive change and improve financial processes.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
• Public accounting experience required; Big 4 background strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience working on process improvements, system implementations, and driving organizational change.
• Cantonese or Mandarin language skills preferred but not required.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not a primary focus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
