Accounts Payable Leader
Responsibilities:
- Lead Accounts Payable operations: Manage invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor relations.
- Ensure financial accuracy and timeliness: Maintain accurate records and timely payments.
- Maintain strong internal controls: Adhere to company policies and procedures to prevent errors and fraud.
- Collaborate with other departments: Work effectively with purchasing, warehouse, and other teams to streamline processes.
Key Duties:
- Lead AP team: Lead and manage the Accounts Payable staff.
- Resolve invoice issues: Address discrepancies and payment problems.
- Record and reconcile vendor invoices: Ensure accurate accounting of all vendor transactions.
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse: Maintain strong communication and collaboration.
- Process payments: Prepare and disburse checks or electronic payments.
- Provide financial reporting: Generate reports for the bank and internal stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Support AP team members: Assist and guide staff as needed.
- lead credit card system: Manage company credit cards and related activities.
- Analyze financial data: Evaluate financial performance and identify trends.
- Maintain expense schedules: Track and manage recurring expenses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: Preferred in Business or Accounting.
- 4+ years of experience: In Accounts Payable .
- Strong leadership and manager skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Organizational skills: Efficiently manage tasks and prioritize workload.
- Proficiency in software: Skilled in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication: Effective in both written and verbal communication.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
Salary:
$65,000-$80,000
Location: Onsite, Riverside.
