As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join the team and contribute to their success.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented AR Specialist to manage accounts receivable and general accounting functions for our retail real estate portfolio. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts receivable for retail property tenants, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
• Oversee collections for outstanding accounts, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve discrepancies or disputes as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant payments and apply them to the appropriate accounts.
• Coordinate with property management, leasing, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with general accounting tasks, including month-end close and reporting.
• Prepare and review financial reports as required.
• Maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure timely payments and resolve any accounting-related concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail real estate accounting, specifically with accounts receivable and/or general accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of commercial real estate terminology and tenant management.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with MRI Software is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and tenants.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with MRI Software is a huge perk, otherwise must have experience with other property management software in the commercial real estate industry (Yardi, etc.)
