Accounting Manager in Salinas!

A leading agricultural company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Accounting to join their accounting team immediatley! They are are a growing business with a strong commitment to providing the highest quality produce to their customers domesitcally and internationally.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of daily accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial analysis, reporting, and month-end close.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems.
• Analyze costs, labor, and overhead to provide detailed cost reports.
• Manage inter-company accounting transactions.
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist in tax compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for accurate costing and reporting.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 4+ years' experience as Senior Accountant (leading month-end or assisting) in agriculture.
  
• Bilingual in English-Spanish
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting standards. 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
• 401(k) with matching.
