A prominent local nonprofit dedicated to education is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager. They're looking for a highly motivated accounting professional who is passionate about helping others and leading by example. If you have great leadership skills and experience upscaling teams, this may be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee G/L, AP, AR, and all core financial functions

  • Partner with the leadership team to support strategic initiatives

  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency

  • Provide leadership, training, and development for the accounting team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience

  • Preference for a background in nonprofit, government, or agriculture sectors

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

  • Experience in public accounting audit

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level
