Accounting Manager – Real Estate

Long-term opportunity with a nationally recognized brand
$135,000–$145,000 base + discretionary bonus
Hybrid Schedule: In-office 3 days per week 

Team Structure:
You’ll join a 7-person accounting and finance team, working alongside a Controller, two Accountants, FP&A Manager, and two Analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day real estate accounting functions, monthly close, and financial reporting

• Review complex leases for accurate CAM and tenant chargebacks

• Coordinate with property and asset management teams to ensure timely financial results

• Handle fixed asset and construction-in-progress accounting

• Prepare lender reporting, budgets, forecasts, and tax support deliverables

• Mentor and develop junior staff; drive process improvements and system transitions (Yardi Voyager 7 to 8)

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years real estate accounting experience

• 2+ years of leadership experience

• Deep knowledge of Yardi Voyager

• Strong interpersonal skills and culture fit

• CPA and a career trajectory aligned with growth

Preferred:

• Public accounting background (Big 4 or mid-tier)

• Strong understanding of GAAP, CAM reconciliations, 1031 exchanges, intercompany transactions

• Experience preparing lender packages and tax deliverables

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
