Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Queens. This role is ideal for a driven and ambitious professional looking for rapid career progression, with a clear pathway to an Assistant Controller position within the next 2-3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system implementations to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive change and improve financial processes.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for junior team members.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy, forecasting, and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred (or actively pursuing).
• Public accounting experience required; Big 4 background strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven experience working on process improvements, system implementations, and driving organizational change.
• Cantonese or Mandarin language skills preferred but not required.
• Healthcare industry experience is helpful but not a primary focus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
