I match my candidates with jobs that they are actually excited about. And for my clients, I always give them my unfiltered opinion, am always reachable, and won’t give up on a hard search. I specialize in Private Equity clients and their Portfolio companies.
Background
I have over 10 years of recruitment experience and on top of my recruiting experience, I also spent 4+ years in Executive Compensation. I spent the first 8.5 years of my recruiting career working in-house across multiple different industries (Professional Services, Advertising/Marketing/Media, SaaS) at companies of all different sizes & stages (from start-ups to PE-backed companies to global public organizations). I have a ton of experience recruiting for every type of professional role you could think of but found my niche in Finance & Accounting, in particular Finance & Accounting leadership roles. For undergrad, I went to University of Maryland (Go Terps!) and for grad school I got my Masters in HR/Organizational Development at Baruch in NYC.
Fun Fact
I eat pizza 3-4 times a week – it’s the best food in the world. Also read the News every day – NYT, WSJ, The Economist, Bloomberg. I really don’t like watching movies, haven’t seen one in years!Tools of the Trade
I remember personal things my candidates or clients tell me - if your kid has a baseball game, I’m going to remember and ask how it went. If you like a certain type of food and I see a recipe, it will be in your inbox shortly! In terms of tech tools, I learned really solid Excel skills during my Exec Comp days, so it’s an oldie but goodie for me to keep organized. I also love Pitchbook – best source of knowledge for anything PE, VC, Hedge Fund, etc.
Outside of Work
I go to the gym a ton (love Equinox, it’s worth every penny). Love playing & watching Tennis!! Also love going to new restaurants and bars. If it’s nice out, I need to be outside. If it’s cold, I love a fireplace or campfire. Huge NY Ranger, NY Yankees, Baltimore Ravens, and Maryland Terrapins fan. I spend a lot of time watching sports. Also, even though it’s cliché, I love to travel (some favorite cities: Paris, Banff, Copenhagen, Lisbon).
